How to submit a film

All submitted films will be pre-screened by the selection committee.

The committee is responsible for the official program.

Films produced between 2023 and 2025 are eligible for the festival.

Films will be screened in digital format (DCP), and in their original version (with German voice over).

A preview screener as well as a dialogue-list in English, French or German are required.

Your permission is required for excerpts from films in competition (not to exceed five minutes) to be used in any television broadcast produced in connection with the festival.

We only screen short films for children aged 4 to 6 years. All other short films will not be taken into consideration.

Submission period is open from February 1 until June 15, 2025
